Grant is coming from New Jersey, and very glad to be back in the Midwest! Originally from Winfield, KS Grant enlisted in the Marine Corps and did one tour to Fallujah, Iraq after high school. Following his service, Grant started his golf career and started washing carts, picking ranges, and everything in between before landing his first Director of Golf position in Council Bluffs, Iowa. During his tenure there Grant met his wife, Cheryl, in July 2018 they married and moved to New Jersey. In January 2019 they found out they were expecting their first child! Grant and Cheryl love golfing, watching The Office, & supporting the Huskers on Saturday! Grant will be joining us at KCC come April 1st.
Ash is happy to be back in the Midwest having spent the last 14 years in Southern California. Born and raised near Alma, Ash is familiar with Kearney and the quality of people in the area. Ash, his wife Erika, and their son Ivan have a home in Axtell one block away from the swimming pool where Ivan spends most of his time. Ash brings to the club a strong passion for customer service and taking care of members at a private club. Some of his many hobbies include playing as much golf as possible, playing card games, and hiking. Ash is a diehard University of Kansas basketball fan and hopes to attend a few games during the winter months!
Originally from Kearney, Patti learned to play golf and swim here at KCC, much like many of our members! In 1992 Patti joined the Club’s team as the office manager has been here ever since. She thoroughly enjoys her job working at a place where people come to have fun, and the members are like family!
Scott grew up in southeastern Nebraska and after stops in Iowa and North Carolina, moved to Kearney in 2016. Scott is passionate about providing a quality course to our membership and enjoys the variety of duties that golf course maintenance offers. Scott considers himself the “World’s Okayest Golfer” and enjoys seeing the course from a different point of view during a round; primarily the native areas, rough, and ponds.
Bruce was raised in Ainsworth, Nebraska and has lived most of his life in the sandhills. He is very excited to return to Kearney where he enjoyed KCC as a Loper back in the KSC days. Bruce and his wife, Ros, have two children who both live and work in Kearney. As a family, they enjoy playing golf, ice-fishing, and hanging out at their family cabin. Bruce is passionate about helping people enjoy the good things in life and believes KCC is the ultimate venue the area has to offer for golf, food, family, and fun. Bruce will be joining KCC at the end of the month!
Sydney will be the pool manager this summer at KCC. She has been a lifeguard at the County Club for the past 2 summers. Sydney is a 2018 graduate of Kearney High School and was on the KHS swim team for 3 years. She just finished her freshman year at Nebraska Wesleyan University studying biology.
