Meet The Staff

Jami Swift - General Manager

Jami grew up in Kearney playing golf and swimming at Kearney Country Club. She worked in the golf shop for a summer in college before transfering from UNK to UNL to complete the PGA Professional Golf Management Program. She brings with her a vast knowledge of the highest industry standards for a private country club. Jami, her husband Keith, and their son Kamden are happy to be back in their hometown where their families reside!

Ash Hammond - Head Golf Professional

Ash is happy to be back in the Midwest having spent the last 14 years in Southern California.  Born and raised near Alma, Ash is familiar with Kearney and the quality of people in the area.  Ash, his wife Erika, and their son Ivan have a home in Axtell one block away from the swimming pool where Ivan spends most of his time.  Ash brings to the club a strong passion for customer service and taking care of members at a private club.  Some of his many hobbies include playing as much golf as possible, playing card games, and hiking.  Ash is a diehard University of Kansas basketball fan and hopes to attend a few games during the winter months!

Patti Streit - Membership Director

Originally from Kearney, Patti learned to play golf and swim here at KCC, much like many of our members!  In 1992 Patti joined the Club’s team as the office manager has been here ever since. She thoroughly enjoys her job working at a place where people come to have fun, and the members are like family!
